Dancing through life in a changing world: life course, historical time and serious leisure

There is a lack of studies taking life course perspective in the growing field research on social aspects older people’s dance. This study aims to redress this negligence by exploring experiences dance through using perspective. In process analysis, theoretical framework was informed serious leisure Twenty-six qualitative interviews were conducted with people active dances originating from Swedish folk park tradition. The results demonstrate how events, historical change, and individuals’ involvement affect life. also highlights discontinuity caused i.e. changes world By combining assumptions contributes discussions about need contextualize
